American footwear brand unveils air-injected Luftcell outsole via a new online concept program

 

PORTLAND, Oregon (Nov. 15, 2017) — Building on the brand’s innovative and pioneering spirit, KEEN, Inc. (KEEN) takes its latest footwear innovations directly to KEEN fans through the newly launched Only at KEEN category at keenfootwear.com. Available today, the Grayson collection for men features the new air-injected KEEN Luftcell outsole technology coupled with a sustainably sourced, fused leather upper, delivering an elevated look with long-lasting durability.

Starting today in the United States, the KEEN Grayson footwear collection is exclusively available at keenfootwear.com, and at KEEN retail stores in Portland, Oregon, and Palo Alto, California. The Grayson collection features the brand’s innovative Luftcell air-injected outsole fused with an American leather hide upper to create three lightweight, comfortable options in the chukka boot, oxford and slip-on.

A seven-days-a-week shoe, the KEEN Grayson is designed for versatility. With its weightless cushioning and environmentally preferred premium leather sourced from certified tanneries, the Grayson smooths the ride from work week to weekend with sophisticated simplicity that dresses up or down.

The new KEEN Luftcell outsole features nearly 100,000 air bubbles per cubic centimeter to create a lightweight, comfortable ride with the regarded fit of the brand’s best-selling Newport sandal footbed. Pairing innovation with manufacturing integrity, KEEN constructed the Grayson with minimal Polyurethane (PU) components and solvents, reducing the collection’s environmental impact. Fusing the leather upper directly into the outsole, KEEN eliminated the need for adhesives, making the Grayson’s minimalist production a perfect expression of KEEN values in motion.

The KEEN Grayson Chukka (MSRP $130), Oxford (MSRP $120), and Slip-On ($110) launch today on keenfootwear.com in the U.S. and will be available globally in Spring/Summer 2018.
