Innovative new sandal wins over judges for evolution in fit, form and function
PORTLAND, Ore. (June 23, 2017) —Fending off a field of 330 entries, KEEN., Inc. (KEEN) continues to build on their momentum, after winning the coveted Industry award for the new EVOFIT ONE sandal at the 2017 OutDoor Friedrichshafen trade fair in Germany.
The OutDoor Industry Award is one of the leading international design awards for brands in the outdoor industry, with new and innovative products being evaluated by an independent panel of expert judges. The accolade of this esteemed award acknowledges the high levels of innovation, functionality and quality exemplified in this pioneering new sandal from KEEN.
The panel of judges stated: “We selected the EVOFIT ONE because of its special footbed design. The innovative synthetic upper, PU cushioning and rubber outsole are very comfortable on all terrains.”
Created in the KEEN Innovation Lab in Portland, Ore. and tested around the world, the KEEN EVOFIT ONE (MSRP $130) sandal is the first model to debut KEEN’s new EVOFIT construction system, a minimal-waste, fabric design that is formulated to move seamlessly with the natural contours of the foot in motion.
