Eighteenth annual nationwide tour inspires hikers, backpackers to live adventurous lives
OGDEN, Utah (May 2, 2018) — Salomon announces its partnership with BACKPACKER Magazine to host the 18thannual Get Out More Tour, a nation-wide series of interactive seminars that give outdoor enthusiasts the tools and inspiration they need to be successful in the backcountry. As official footwear sponsor, Salomon will join tour host Randy Propster across 53 stops, providing each community with a unique opportunity to share experiences, eliminate misconceptions, identify challenges, and offer proven solutions to enhance comfort, safety and confidence in the outdoors.

The Tour will visit 45 retails shops and eight music festivals across the U.S. in 2018, providing a 90-minute seminar at each location that educates and inspires participants while covering a wide range of topics including backpacking essentials, the latest in gear and apparel, survival skills, and trail-tested tips.
Throughout the tour, Salomon will host a series of Hike Clubs and product demos at key retailers for attendees to learn proper technique and test popular hike footwear, including the lauded X Ultra 3 Mid GTX, which earned BACKPACKER Magazine’s “Best Traction” recognition in its Spring 2018 Gear Guide.
